That's right, we're here to change your terminology and blow your MIND. Did you know you don't need an iPod to listen to this podcast? DOES THAT MAKE THIS A PODCAST AT ALL? Shouldn't we be using a more descriptive term for these things?

Probably not, but we gave it a shot anyway. We also tried really hard not to just talk about fighting games this week, but it was a near thing. Aaron's really into Melty Blood (and Guilty Gear Xrd), but Paul saves the day with some talk about The Old Republic and Elder Scrolls Online(?), along with some other stuff--like Street Fighter V's somewhat lackluster beta launch, the Ouya lives (sort of), and buying a souped up (but used) PS4 from Gamestop.

Plus, a pizza break and a technical difficulties break--BUT ONLY ONE merited the use of MF Doom's Humrush. Bet you can't wait to find out which one!

Guys, EVO happened last week and it was super-exciting, so we spend a good chunk of time talking all about it (like that Killer Instinct comeback)! Other topics of conversation include:

The time Sam got to meet Cara Ellison and make Aaron and Paul hella jealous, Quakes 1-3, Persona 4 Arena, Melty Blood: Actress Again: Current Code, Cinder's dick, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Left 4 Dead, Evolve, Dead Island 2's apparent demise, the new game from the Skullgirls developers, and a one-way ticket to Boob City.

Oh yeah and if you didn't figure it out yet, we had Sam back on!

No, don't worry, I know you were afraid we'd not make that reference from Clerks for the thirty-seventh episode, but we're on top of it. It's out of the way in like the first five minutes, don't worry.

We are all a little bummed on account of the whole Iwata thing, but we tried not to dwell on it for too long so that we could talk a little about our deteriorating Street Fighter skills, Trackmania Stadium (seriously go play that right now, GO DO IT), and a whole lot of talk about the various Arkham games, but mostly Arkham Knight. As a special bonus, there's some talk about Warhammer in there too, and a brief mention of this video which is pretty fucking cool.

We're all recovering from the 4th of July holiday, so bear with us as we muddle through the week's events and the baby puking on Paul. On the docket this week: more Batman talk, some Dying Light talk, and a rundown of the past week's news (which isn't a lot, to be honest). Think of this as a way to recover from all those extended episodes we've been doing recently.
