Please Do Not Turn Off Your Console

We were gone for a week there, but we've come back because your sobs convinced us we should. So what have we been doing with ourselves? Well, let's see... not much as it turns out. There's a little rust, but we'll hit our stride again soon.

Persona 4 gets some discussion time, as does The World Ends With You and Aaron tries to convince himself that going back to portable gaming is not a complete waste of time. Also, Paul informs Aaron that 80 Days is an iPhone-only game but Republique isn't.

The prospect of a face-to-face sitdown episode looms on the horizon, but sometimes we don't get what we want. Sometimes we get garbage instead, and have to find a trash can.

Papa John's cookie pizza thing is one such garbage, and the audio for episode five is another. Our apologies. Come back next week and we will provide both goofs and game discussion to make up for it. Also, if you send us your address, we will email you some lemonade in an envelope by way of apology. The envelope will be pretty soggy, and it may not actually arrive because there might be laws about mailing soggy envelopes, but we'll try and that's what matters.

Welcome to episode four, meaning we've been doing this for a whole fucking month! How about THAT, huh? We've come so far...

On the episode, we talk about how the internet needs to get its shit together, more on Shadow of Mordor, a brief discussion of Forza and racing games in general, the Alien movies (did you know Alien 3 is actually pretty good? Neither did I!), and of course a quick run-through of news (including some hot takes on RESOLUTION). Everything you are quickly coming to expect/dread from the internet's hottest new podcast about video games! And also this podcast!

Against all odds, week three happens. AIN'T NO GETTING OFF THIS TRAIN WE'RE ON.

We discuss Shadow of Mordor for a really long time, touch on that old N64 (shout out to all the Hybrid Heaven fans in the audience), more discussion of the Steam Curation page. Also, we talk about that gum you like coming back in style, and holy shit, have there been two Homestar Runner episodes in 2014? Someone wake me up I must be dreaming.

Oh, and Aaron talks about his new vacuum cleaner for a couple minutes in there. No, I don't know why either.

Opening music is Back to the Light by Jun Fukuda off of Killer 7. Closing music is Rave On, by Masafumu Takada, also off of Killer 7. This is now a Killer 7 music podcast, which is all part of the plan. Oh yes.  Subscribe to us on iTunes, or leave a review and tell us how awful this show's getting now that we're up to three whole episodes.
